Filming for the Beeb

Last week we had the great pleasure of recording some movements of the Rachmaninov Vespers for BBC4 TV, and the following evening performing it on the opening evening of the Brandenburg Choral Festival 2015.

The recording took place at St Sophia’s, the Greek Cathedral in Bayswater – a quite magnificent building. Incidentally you can hear the Holst Singers perform the complete work in the same building on 13 November which will be quite a treat.

The following evening we were in similarly beguiling setting at St Martin in the Fields and sung to a packed hall.
