Serenade to Music and The Planets (Vaughan Williams/Holst)

Epiphoni returns to Fairfield Halls with Kensington Symphony Orchestra to revisit one of our favourite works, Vaughan Williams’s Serenade to Music which we have performed several times over the years.

The sopranos and altos of the chorus join the orchestra in Holst’s vast and crowdpleasing work, The Planets, and the full choir perform two pieces from Patrick Hawes’ Revelation (ahead of our Good Friday performance of the work in full) and Tippett’s Dance Clarion Air, which features as part of our Tallinn competiton programme.
