All Hallows by the Tower

Our collaboration with Streetwise Opera for their sell-out Christmas concert returns for its fourth year, hosted by Simon Callow with a new carol created by people experiencing homelessness.

Join legendary actor Simon Callow for a memorable evening of music and storytelling. Sing along to some of the most cherished Christmas carols led by the award-winning Streetwise Opera, and leave feeling uplifted and inspired.

Following a sold-out show last year, Deck the Halls with Streetwise Opera returns for its fourth year as part of London’s winter celebrations. This year’s programme features the premiere of a brand-new Christmas carol, which was created by people who are homeless through workshops at The Connection at St Martin’s.

Simon will read excerpts from A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, bringing the timeless story to life in one of London’s most beautiful settings, All Hallows by the Tower.

Much-loved cinema, theatre and television actor Paterson Joseph will share a Christmas story, and critically acclaimed mezzo-soprano Jennifer Johnston will take centre stage for a powerful solo piece.

Epiphoni will have its own slot and the feature includes performances from fellow guest ensembles  The Bar Choral Society and Fulham Brass Band.

All proceeds from the event will support Streetwise Opera’s mission to inspire and empower people who have experienced homelessness. Through singing and creativity, we help people regain confidence, rediscover their potential and find inspiration as they rebuild their lives.

Seating is unreserved and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If you wish to book 10 tickets or more, please contact ruby.thorne@streetwiseopera.org for a 10% discount code before placing your order. All Hallows by the Tower is fully accessible for wheelchair users.
