Epiphoni double win at The 18th International Choir Festival “Tallinn 2025”
Epiphoni were crowned overall winners at the 18th International Choir Festival in Tallinn last weekend, winning the prestigious Grand Prix and first place in the Chamber Choir category.

The choir topped their group in the Chamber Choir category with a mark of 95.2% (having had a mark deducted for going over the maximum time!) beating excellent choirs from Estonia, Slovenia and Finland.

The competition culminated in a Grand Prix performance comprising the top six choirs from across all categories (Children’s, Youth, Equal Voices, Mixed Voices, Chamber Choir and Contemporary) a closing concert and an awards ceremony. At the very end of the awards presentations, Epiphoni were announced as Grand Prix winners of the competition.

Epiphoni were invited on stage to sing a final encore – we chose How Can I Keep from Singing? by Sarah Quartel (soloist, Jessica Reader):
A total of 850 singers from 22 choirs competed at the festival representing Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Slovenia, Finland, UK and Estonia.
