We’re Singing at the BBC Proms 2026!

We are absolutely thrilled to share this news: Epiphoni Consort has been invited to perform at the BBC Proms 2026!

Today’s announcement confirmed that we will be joining forces with the BBC Symphony Chorus and the BBC Symphony Orchestra on the stage of the iconic Royal Albert Hall this summer — and we could not be more excited.

Our Prom on Friday 7 August features one of the great staples of the choral repertoire: Rossini’s Stabat mater, alongside a stellar international cast of soloists — soprano Federica Lombardi, mezzo-soprano Chiara Amarù, tenor René Barbera, and bass Nicola Ulivieri — all under the baton of conductor Nil Venditti. Paired with Respighi’s colourful chant-inspired ‘Church Windows’ the programme presents a real mix of sonority, theatricality and devotion.

The BBC Proms runs across eight weeks this summer, with 86 concerts at the Royal Albert Hall and venues across the UK, and every single Prom broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and BBC Sounds. That means our performance will reach audiences far beyond the walls of the Royal Albert Hall.
